Everything on this site is general information about patient education, healthcare navigation and health research, together with the operator’s opinion. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a relationship between you and any clinician. Conditions, services, insurance rules and guidelines differ between people and places, so what suits one reader may not suit another. Please talk to a qualified clinician before changing medication, stopping treatment or acting on a test result, and contact emergency services for anything urgent. Summaries of studies are simplified and may omit details that matter for your case.
Ownership of the material
The written guides, page design and original graphics here are the operator’s, or used with permission. You may read them, quote a brief passage with a clear credit to Assertivepatient and share a link. Copying full guides, republishing them or selling them requires written permission first.
Using the site properly
